Lecrae's song "Desperate"

I know a lot of people do not like rap/hip hop music, but I can tell you that Christian rap has some of the best lyrics in any songs writen! So, I understand if you don't like the style, but just read the words from part of this song.

Verse 2: "I'm waste deep in my pity/ Is satan tryna trick me and tell me you won't forgive me/ Cause it's startin to get me/ Jesus help me quickly/ I hate the wrong I've done/ I know we all fall but I feel like the only one/ Feels like I should be shunned/ Should I punish myself/ I know it's dumb cause by your death all my sin has been dealt/ But my sin is been felt/ I didn't wanna do it/ But what I wanna do I don't/ I swear I'm going through it/ I'm tryin to open up my Bible need to read your pages/ need you Lord but my guilt has got me feelin so faithless/ Help me see where grace is/ Take me back to the basics/ Help me find my joy in you and not people and places/ my sin is ever before me/ I turned my back on you/ Oh father break and restore me to bring me back to you."

This is his cry to God because of His sin...and then verse 3 is the solution.

Sorry for writting out so much, but I didn't even put in there verse 1 which I like just as much! I just love this song! Our God is so gracious to us! We are so sinful, and we are so desprate for Him!! He is the only one who can save us! We need His mercy and grace, and He freely gives!! Love this song! If you have any liking of hip hop at all, you need to go look this song up! I know you'll love it! Thank you God for being so merciful and gracious!!

Hey Everyone!

As you can see, I'm writting this one pretty late! I really don't have much to say, which is unusual! : ) Life is really busy right now, and I haven't posted anything in a long time, so I thought I'd just say "hi" for now! : ) Hopefully I'll have something a little more profound to say later! : ) One awesome thing that happened to me today is I got a replacement ipod to replace the one I broke...I got it from one of my most awesome friends ever! She was so nice to let me borrow hers for awhile! Just thought I'd share that excitment with you! Okay...I know you want me to name names, so I just will! Bridget let me borrow hers for awhile, so I owe her big time! : ) So, that was my excitement for the day!! Hope everybody else had a great day!

Happy Easter! He is risen!!

Just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone!! I like forward to celebrating the resurrection of Christ in four different services tomorrow morning!! Thank you Jesus for shedding your blood for our sins!! Praise Him forevermore!!
